Board Certified Pediatrician
Alan Dakak, M.D.

Dr. Dakak is the founding pediatrician at Kern Pediatrics. He has been working as a pediatrician since 2008. He completed medical school in 2004 at the Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and residency training at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona.

Dr. Dakak has been Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2008. He is licensed to practice medicine in California and is fluent in Spanish and Arabic.

Dr. Dakak has received the following awards

  • Most Supportive Physician Award, Memorial Hospital, 2016.
  • Compassionate Doctor Recognition, Vitals, 2012-2013, 2015-2016.

He has been a Volunteer Clinical Faculty Member at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Dakak enjoys being a father to his two children. In his free time he enjoys traveling, playing basketball and soccer, and donating his time to community service for the underserved. He has been on medical missions to Mexico.
